Hasbro has won a judgment against a competing company, 123 Nährmittel,  who used the descriptive phrase “play dough” in connection with its own Yummy Dough product.

The Court found the defendants had infringed Hasbro´s iconic PLAY-DOH trademark and had passed off their products as being connected in some way to Hasbro. In addition, the defendants´ counterclaim for invalidity and revocation was dismissed in its entirety by the court.
